What level do I need for the Business English course?
The minimum level is Pre-Intermediate (A2). You should be able to form simple sentences and understand basic vocabulary. For presentations we recommend B1 or above, for negotiations B2 or above
How is Business English different from a general course?
A general course gives you English for life, a business course English for work. The grammar is the same, but at work you have to say things more briefly and precisely. So the practice is built on the material you deal with at work every day
Is the course suitable if I do not work in an office?
Yes. The course is built around working situations that happen anywhere: a client call from home, an email to a supplier abroad, a presentation on camera
Is this course for individuals or companies?
This course is designed for individual learners and their career goals. If your company needs training for a team or department, see our Corporate English programme, which includes a contract and progress reports for HR
How long does it take to see noticeable results?
Within a few months of regular lessons, you will see significant improvement in your emails, calls, meetings and negotiations
Do you prepare for interviews in English?
Yes. We work through your CV and the questions recruiters ask. If the interview is already scheduled and time is short, there is a separate course with mock interviews run by a teacher
