What is a Speaking Club?
Speaking Club is a series of regular online meetings for live English conversation practice in a small group at your level. You discuss real-life topics in English only, build fluency and get used to thinking in the language instead of translating in your head; the teacher-host prompts words and gives feedback.
Topics vary: films and series, travel, work, technology, everyday situations, sometimes role-plays and discussions in pairs. Meetings run on Zoom or Google Meet, last 60–90 minutes and are held regularly, so practice becomes a habit rather than a one-off event.
Speaking Club vs a course
A course teaches the language systematically: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation. Speaking Club maintains and develops the speaking skill you already have — not a replacement for a course but a great addition to it. A comfortable starting level for the club is A2 and above: in level-based meetings you never have to search for words on your own. Not sure about your level?
