Before: you point at the menu and nod.
Now: you calmly order — Could I get a flat white and still water, please?
Before: you stay silent and wait for others to speak.
Now: you join in — Sorry to jump in, could I add one thing?
Before: you answer "yes" and "no", afraid of mistakes.
Now: you keep the conversation going — That reminds me of a trip I once took
An introductory lesson: a CEFR test and a conversation about your goals
A group or one-to-one, with a schedule that fits your time zone
Speaking practice from the first lessons; grammar and vocabulary in context, not by cramming
"Explains things clearly, demanding but never over the top. The best I've ever had!"
Liudmyla, course review, March 2025
General English teaches you to use the language in real life rather than store it as a set of rules: speaking and listening come first, while grammar and vocabulary settle onto living topics in context. The course covers every level of the CEFR scale: from A1 to C2.
If you have never studied English before, or know only a few words, start with the separate English from scratch course.
In lessons we notice one pattern. The moment a student stops translating every phrase in their head and starts building sentences on the go, their English comes alive, even with a modest vocabulary. That is why from the very first lessons you speak more than you listen: short dialogues, reacting to a line, describing what you see around you.
Grammar is never served as dry blocks detached from speech. It arrives through real situations: the past tense grows out of a story about your weekend, conditionals surface while discussing plans, and articles stick exactly where you actually confuse them. This approach is slower at the start, but the language stays with you because it is tied to your own stories, not textbook exercises.
