New vocabulary and phrases in context, listening and pronunciation work
Work in pairs and threes: you do the talking, not the teacher
You speak without pausing to translate, understand fast speech by ear, and react confidently in unexpected situations
Small talk to ease into English without stress, then new vocabulary and phrases in the context of a live topic
Work in pairs and threes, a mini-discussion or a real-life role-play: you do the talking, not the teacher
The teacher notes mistakes as you speak and goes over them at the end, without interrupting
The language barrier fades fastest when mistakes become working material: first come speed and confidence, then accuracy
A spoken English course is built around one principle: in the lesson you do the talking, not the teacher. In groups of up to 8 people at a similar level, most of the lesson is pair work, mini-discussions and real-life role-plays: an interview, a trip, a support call, meeting someone new. We choose topics around the group's interests, so your vocabulary grows exactly where you will actually use it.
The main enemy of spoken English is the language barrier. That is why mistakes in the lesson are working material, not a reason for reproach: the teacher notes them and goes over them at the end, without interrupting your speech. First come speed and confidence, then accuracy. Grammar catches up through speaking, not through tables.
